Four Corners Learning
Creative Opportunities for Adult Learning
Four Corners describes the four corners of a fishing net, an the four unique styles of instruction we offer for the adult learner at Northwest Community Church. Four Corners is designed to provide different learning environments for different learning styles. Four corners also describe tent stakes, foundations, and boundaries. All these pictures help to define the focus of NCC adult education; to provide a variety of opportunities for adults to gather knowledge and to grow strong in the Lord and all aspects of walking with him day-to-day. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."

Intensive Studies
These classes offer the student an opportunity for in-depth studies, including Kay Arthur's Precept model and others. Topics range from the Book of Revelation to Spiritual Warfare, to the Book of Philippians. Students will be required to complete intensive weekly homework for these classes. The classes meet during the week here at church. The C.L.A.S.S. - "Christian Living and Scripture Studies"
This series of classes will be held 2-3 times throughout the year, offering a variety of classes for adults, including Bible studies, marriage strengthening, parenting, Bible character overviews, life application classes, etc., in a series format. Each session will run from 4-6 weeks in length, meeting in the evening here at NCC. Teachers-at-Large
This learning opportunity offers existing ministries and small groups a unique experience. We will provide teachers who will come to your small group or ministry gathering to teach or lead discussion groups on a variety of topics. Home fellowships, men's and women's ministry groups, support groups, etc., would invite teachers to come to their groups to instruct or lead discussions on topics such as Spiritual Gifts, Knowing Your Identity in Christ, Developing a Life-style Evangelism, Learning Styles, Parenting Issues, and Life Application studies. Ray Moody oversees this ministry and has gathered a core group of leaders who coordinate the various types of learning, as well as offering their teaching skills as facilitators to the various classes. Core members include:
